The weather was gorgeous yesterday. Skies around Camp Bondsteel have been nothing but clear and beautiful. We have a great view of Mount Luboten.
Today was our first day off since we got back from Christmas leave. I slept in until about 0830 and went to the chow hall. , missed the supposed brunch that was advertised. After a couple of hours online, I headed to lunch and decided to fast on the way.
Then I went to church; it was the final Sunday for the KFOR 10 rotation. We are losing a bunch of officers.
I decided to have a better attitude. We’ll see how that plays out. The Army—and its personnel—can be so irritating, but I should do my best to have a good time and a rewarding deployment.
