Mr. Vice President

I met the Vice President of the United States last week. It was, to use the description of a fellow Soldier, "exhilarating."

Joe Biden visited Camp Bondsteel in obligatory fashion after meeting with leaders of the former Yugoslavia. The politics seem right, and he was refreshing in his directness and candor during his speech, even if it was obviously rehearsed.

Though I didn't vote for him, and usually disagree with his politics, it was neat to be so close and be able to ask him a couple of questions.
