You Can Almost Count the Hours!

This is my last post as a deployed father. Next Tuesday you'll be in my arms.

This de-mobilization process is a bit irksome, but I can manage. The three things that are hardest to deal with are:

1) filling free time: The required tasks take so little time each day that we have 10 hours of free time. I have worked out every day since I've been here. That's much more than any five-day stretch on this entire deployment.

2) the weather: it has rained every day, too. I miss California.

3) the waiting: it's tough, but Sunday's coming soon!
